Marjan de Boer is a visual artist and a ladies golf professional from the Netherlands.

She creates a variety of subjects with a recognizable reality and an own interpretation.

Marjan lives on the island of Ameland.



Marjan was the first Dutch lady golf professional playing on the Ladies European Tour on which she played from 1986 till 2002. She played five times in the Ladies British Open. In 2013 Marjan has won the French Senior Ladies International Open and in 2019 she became the first female champion of the PGA Holland Senior Cup.

A year before she became a golf professional, Marjan succeeded her Mensendieck education, a study of posture and anatomy. In 1988 she qualified as a teaching pro in England. After that she got the position of Head Pro at at the Amsterdam Old Course. She also has been teaching in Rheine Mesum (Germany).

Marjan has won many tournaments.  Some of her highlights as an amateur are:  winning the National Junior Strokeplay and Matchplay title in the same year;  representing Holland in Hong Kong during the World Team Championships;  winning the Greek National Open. 

As a pro, some of her highlights include: two-time winner of the National Strokeplay;  several top 5 finishes on the European Tour;  in 2004 winner of the National Matchplay Championship.
As a golfprofessional Marjan is not associated with a golfclub.


Marjan creates a wide variety of paintings and sculptures with a recognizable reality and an own interpretation.

reproductions of some golf courses are also available. In addition, she fulfills special requests.
